Pixelphish launches its OpenSource Learning Management System
Pixelphish uses Moodle for delivering and tacking of its elearning development. Opensource is becoming a strong force in the web world more and more every day. Pixlephish has decided that this application will track and record our client's courseware and assessment modules quite efficiently. Contact our office today for a trial run of some existing courses already in use.

Cristina De Santis
Pixelphish is proud to announce that Cristina De Santis has joined the staff as Art Director. A 2003 graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Cristina was most recently employed with Brasseler USA as the Media Supervisor. Though she has joined us as a full time employee, Cristina has worked for Pixelphish on a contractual basis for the past four years. In her spare time she enjoys bartending at local Savannah landmark Pinkie Master's and as a former member of the SCAD equestrian team still enjoys hunter jumper competition. Please help us welcome Cristina.

Cessna Citation 525 Series Coursware
Pixelphish receives contract to develop the Maintenance Aviation Initial courseware for the FlightSafety International Cessna Maintenance Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas. Our Instructional Design department is hard at work completing the Analysis and Design development for approximately forty-eight hours of classroom and simulator training.

Karen Schaaf
Karen Schaaf, President of Pixelphish, Inc., graduated from Virginia Tech University with her Masters in Instructional Design. We are all so proud of her accomplishments and Karen asks each of us to keep her fellow Virginia Tech students in our thoughts and prayers.

Amanda Lewis
Amanda Lewis has joined the staff of Pixelphish as a Graphic Specialist and Online Project Coordinator. Ms. Lewis holds a BFA from Armstrong Atlantic State University and is currently enrolled at Savannah Technical College to obtain additional certification. With three years of experience in photography and graphic design, Amanda will be a wonderful asset to an already talented staff. Please join us in welcoming Amanda.

Pixelphish Awarded Falcon Contract
Pixelphish is proud to announce we have been selected to develop online pre-study courseware for the Falcon series jets. The modules will provide Falcon pilots with the ability to access reference material and online documentation to help prepare them for upcoming recurrent training. This expanded contract will include the Falcon 50 Series, 900 Series and 2000 Series business jets.

Sara Farooq Joins Staff

Contract Awarded
Pixelphish has been awarded a contract with FlightSafety Texas to produce aviation maintenance lessons for the Cessna Citation business jet.

SCORM Certification
The staff of Pixelphish is currently training with Advanced Distributed Learning to become certified SCORM developers. SCORM is a collection of standards and specifications adapted from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive suite of e-learning capabilities that enable interoperability, accessibility and reusability of Web-based learning content.

All Walks of Life (AWOL) Featured in Connect Savannah
Pixelphish client, AWOL is featured in Connect Savannah to promote their new musical テδεつ「テδづつテδづつ廡rom Griot to Emceeテδεつ「テδづつテδづつ which features 55 of Savannah's most talented children and teens.. All Walks of Life, Inc. which began as a spoken word poetry organization at SSU in 1997, has developed into a non profit community organization with the stated mission of promoting and providing self-awareness through the use of poetry, hip-hop and life. They do this by giving young people afternoon and night programs that encourage education, respect, creativity and most of all nonviolence.

Pixelphish Founder Inducted Into Phi Kappa Phi
Pixelphish founder Karen Schaaf has been invited to join Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective honor society. Some of the organizations more notable members include former President Jimmy Carter, writer John Grisham, NASA Wendy Lawrence, and Netscape founder James Barksdale. Karen is in her final semester at Virginia Tech where she will earn her Masters in Instructional Technology.

Pixelphish Awarded Aviation Contract
Pixelphish has been awarded a contract with FlightSafety Texas to produce courseware designed to train corporate pilots in the operational differences between the Gulfstream V - 450 - and 550. While pilots flying the three business jets are not required to seek additional type ratings for each aircraft, the FAA mandates that they must complete a required course which educates them on the differences.
